Pathways
The College is proud to be a partner in the Delaware Pathways initiative. Delaware Pathways is a vehicle to ensure all high school students have the opportunity to fulfill their educational goals and career aspirations. Career pathways begin in the public education system (K-12) through the development and implementation of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs of study. These pathways allow for students to participate in work-based learning opportunities and provide articulated credit toward many Delaware Tech degree and workforce training programs.
Students who successfully complete a Career and Technical Education pathway may be eligible for credit to get a head start at Delaware Tech.
Pathways Credit Evaluation Process:
- The student must be admitted to Delaware Tech before credits will be evaluated or posted to the student's transcript. Apply here.
- The student should complete the High School Pathway Advanced Credit form. To access the form, you will need to log into your MyDTCC account. If you have not already provided Admissions with a copy of your high school transcript, you will need to attach it to the form. Note: If your transcript has already been submitted to Admissions, you do not need to resubmit your transcript.
- The information will be verified to ensure all requirements are met.
- Once evaluation of the course(s) is complete, Delaware Tech will award credit to the student's Delaware Tech transcript. The grade will appear as "AC" and not be calculated into the student's GPA.
